At Baud Scientific, we are creating the world’s most efficient wind turbine with built-in storage. Why? Wind turbines are innately very less efficient. Over 90% of the wind flying through the turbine never becomes electricity. We are using mechanical engineering to provide an energy cushion between aerodynamics and generators to deliver 10 to 20% more energy in a year from the otherwise wasted wind, and this is exactly what we are doing with windTRAIN. That’s not it, we expanded the same thesis in creating DeepStorage for 6-8 hours storage at the grid level, a segment that currently seems to be the gold rush of all storage companies.
The technology that we have been developing over the last three years is now maturing towards business. A significant part of its development has happened at our labs at Hartron-NASSCOM CoE-IoT & AI, Gurugram, apart from the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur.
About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Create 3D computer generated (CG) animation of a technology/engineering concept as per inputs from tech team
2. Work on Blender 3D or 3D studio max or similar 3D rendering/animation software
